The Artfiles Mail System

As you can see, the reliability, flexibility and high availability of our mail system are particularly important to us. However, we also offer other mail services for special requirements, which we briefly outline below and, as always, the same applies here: If you have any questions, please contact us!

Our mail systems cover the needs of the vast majority of customers without requiring any additional setup. However, there may be situations in which a special solution is required for sending or retrieving emails. For example, this may be the case if large-scale mailings need to be managed, such as newsletters for tens of thousands of customers. Similarly, larger offices with many mail clients sharing one Internet connection for retrieving emails may reach our security limits for simultaneous access.

For these cases, we offer the option of booking an individual server for sending and retrieving emails. You can then use this server to send your newsletters without interference, for example, and also retrieve emails via your own server. We provide turnkey servers, so you do not have to worry about a thing. Of course, these servers also include the usual Artfiles technology, meaning that all settings for your mail accounts are retained.

Moving email accounts usually involves a lot of manual work to copy all emails and folders to the new mail server. We make this work easier for you with our IMAPsync service. When creating a new account, you simply enter the access data of an existing account - whether hosted with Artfiles or another provider - and our system automatically transfers your emails to the new account in the background. You can work with your new account as normal, new incoming emails are recognized and are not overwritten.

The legally compliant archiving of emails in accordance with tax and commercial law retention periods is becoming increasingly important for companies and self-employed professionals. Our archive service offers you a convenient and cost-effective solution for this. You specify which of your email addresses is to be archived and our system forwards both outgoing and incoming emails from or to this address in parallel to a separate archiving system. Your emails are then archived there in a tamper-proof manner and are available at all times. Email archiving is charged at €5.00 per domain per month.
