Electricity

In all colocation tariffs, your power consumption is measured regularly and billed at the end of the month. For individual servers, this is done directly on the power ports of the power distribution units (PDUs) that we provide. The individual ports are billed by watt per month. From the Colocation 10 U tariff upwards, you will receive your own 19-inch metered power strip with billing based on kilowatt hours.
You can view your current power consumption live at any time via your Domain Control Panel (DCP) and observe the development over the past days and weeks using the graph.

Traffic / Bandwidth

When you connect to the Internet, billing according to traffic (GB/TB) per month is standard with us: all tariffs are equipped with a generous inclusive volume that scales upwards depending on the size of your account. As soon as you have fully used up your volume, the additional traffic consumed is billed by GB. We can adjust the inclusive volume to your individual needs.
For very high consumption, we offer a bandwidth-based billing model on a 95th percentile basis. 95 percentile means that of the 100% of all measured values of your bandwidth consumption, the "top" 5 percent with the highest consumption at the end of each month are excluded from the billing; the remaining maximum value is billed.
You can view your consumption in both traffic and bandwidth at any time via your Domain Control Panel (DCP). You can also set it so that you receive an e-mail when a "soft limit" defined by you is reached. It is always possible to switch between the two billing models. We will be happy to advise you on which billing model is right for you.
