Electricity

In all colocation plans, your power consumption is measured regularly and billed at the end of the month. For individual servers, this is measured directly at the power ports of the power distribution units (PDUs) we provide. The individual ports are billed based on their power consumption in watts per month. From the Colocation 10U plan upwards, you receive your own 19-inch metered power strip, with billing based on kilowatt hours.
You can view your current power consumption live at any time via your Domain Control Panel (DCP) and track its development over the past days and weeks using the graph.

Traffic / Bandwidth

For Internet connectivity, traffic-based billing (GB/TB) per month is our standard model: all plans include a generous traffic allowance that scales depending on the size of your account. Once this allowance has been fully used, any additional traffic is billed per GB. We can adjust the included traffic volume to your individual needs.
For very high usage, we offer a bandwidth-based billing model on a 95th percentile basis. The 95th percentile means that, of all measured bandwidth usage values, the top 5 percent with the highest usage each month are excluded from billing; the remaining highest value is billed.
You can view both your traffic and bandwidth usage at any time via your Domain Control Panel (DCP). You can also configure it so that you receive an email when a user-defined “soft limit” is reached. Switching between the two billing models is possible at any time. We will be happy to advise you on which billing model is right for you.
