The customer operates a range of browser and mobile games that are now played by millions of people all over the world. The success story began with a single rackspace server in our data center, but this quickly grew. After a short time, the project occupied the first complete rack and continued to grow unchecked. Today, the customer occupies a large number of racks and, despite increasing virtualization, growth continues unabated.
The customer ordered the hardware (servers, blade systems, switches and storage) through us from the outset and benefited from our good purchasing conditions as an Internet hoster. In addition to all colocation work (e.g. server installation/conversion, replacement of defective components, cross-connects, etc.), we provided the customer with IPv4 and IPv6 networks, set up BGP and created a redundant network infrastructure across several locations. The company headquarters is also redundantly connected directly to our data centers and thus optimally positioned. The customer benefits from our direct connection to the Link11 cluster in Frankfurt, which provides optimum protection against DDoS attacks. Last but not least, our subsidiary Artfiles LLC in California houses the infrastructure for the shortest possible ping times on the other side of the world.
