With an offering that specializes in secure e-mail services in the Microsoft Office area, optimal redundancy of its services is particularly important to this customer. We therefore implemented a setup that was perfectly tailored to the customer's needs: One rack at each of two separate locations with a high-bandwidth connection in between, which runs via our network ring. To this end, we have set up redundant routers at both locations, which ensure the connection even in the event of a complete failure of one location. This includes not only the purchase, provision and spare parts support of the hardware, but also the setup and ongoing 24/7 support of the routers, as well as the provision of the networks and BGP configuration.
