With an offering that specializes in secure email services in the Microsoft Office area, optimal redundancy of its services is particularly important to this customer. We therefore implemented a setup that was perfectly tailored to the customer's needs: One rack in each of two separate locations with a high-bandwidth connection in between, which runs via our network ring. To this end, we have set up redundant routers at both locations, which maintain connectivity even in the event of a complete failure of one location. This includes not only the procurement, deployment and spare parts support for the hardware, but also the setup and ongoing 24/7 support of the routers, as well as the provision of the networks and BGP configuration.
