All our web hosting plans are protected against large-scale DDoS attacks by default via the global Anycast network of our DDoS protection partner – at no additional cost.
But that is not all we have to offer. If you are using the Professional Web af.stack or Professional Web Blade Server plan and require additional security features, you can add our Web Security package, which includes the following features.

Would you like to restrict access to the DCP to specific IP addresses? Or limit access via FTP or SSH as well?
No problem with the IP filter! You can define exactly who is allowed access. For HTTP(S), you can configure a default rule that either allows or denies connections and then define exceptions accordingly. You remain in full control!
In addition, you can configure rate limits to control the number of parallel connections as well as the number of connections per second.

With ModSecurity, you can enable a web application firewall (WAF) individually for each subdomain. The ModSecurity engine is tightly integrated with the OWASP CRS (Core Rule Set), meaning that potential attacks are detected and blocked based on a comprehensive set of rules. Alternatively, you can choose to log all detected attacks first in order to gain an overview before enabling active blocking.

By default, all web servers are protected against major DDoS attacks through our partner. With the additional package, you can also view whether there have been any recent incidents involving your server IP.
